Slipper Pattern Available & some Blog Candy

I have been really busy these last few weeks. Sorry I haven't been posting my creations. I will have some up for you in the next few days. I have been working on a pattern for my crocheted slippers that I posted a few weeks back. I have had so many people saying that they would love to have little slippers for their kids so I did some work and came up with a pattern complete with instructions on how to make them. I have added a picture and a button on my sidebar where you can purchase the pattern through paypal. I will email the pattern out to you in a pdf file.

I am really excited to be able to share this with others. I may even make some actual slippers to sell after Christmas. I'm looking into setting up an etsy account. Right now i'm just a little swamped because I have a few people that I am making them for in time for gift giving.
I have a few other unique items that I have been dreaming up and trying to figure out how to make as well. I think I need a nice new sewing machine (I've been using my mother's old one) to help me with my projects. :) So for now I will sell my pattern and save up my money for one that I have had my eye on at Costco. I really hope you have fun with these cute slippers and let me know if you have any questions at all, I am happy to help.
Now on to the blog Candy, I will be giving away one of these patterns to a lucky winner. All you have to do to be entered is post a comment (1 entry) and Blog about this giveaway and post in your comments where I can find it (1 entry). You can have up to 2 chances to win. Have fun. *smiles*

Elegant Snowflakes

I joined an online class called UStamp It was started up by two Stampin Up consultants. I have to say that I've been loving the projects. This is one of the bonus projects done by A lady over in the UK. It's so easy that I just had to make some right away.

I asked my hubby if it was too early to start putting up Christmas decorations. :) He told me "what ever makes you happy". Such a good husband. So I hung them over the table. lol

If you wanna check out the link for UStamp above you totally should. I've been very pleased with the projects and I think it was well worth the $25. If you decide to join up please mention that I referred you, and find me to add me to your friends list. :)
Have a wonderful weekend and don't forget to set your clocks back one hour.

Happy Birthday Little One

My baby girl who is not so much a baby anymore is turning 4 this weekend. We are having a little party with some of her friends from pre-school today. It should be fun. I made some little gift bags using small brown paper bags, genie bags I think they are called on SCS. They turned out quite cute and it helped me to use up some retired paper that is in my stash, because they are the perfect colors for a little princess.

Items used:

Paper - Pink Carnation, White Daisy, and Kiwi CS, Precious Paisleys DP

Stamps - Princess

Ink - Pink Carnation

Ribbon - Heavenly Blue Organdy

Tools - Word window punch, cutter

Summer is Killer

I've hit a little bit of a road block with creating lately, it's summer, that's my excuse. It's difficult to find inspiration when the kids are home constantly asking for something to do, LOL. I do have some things that I created a while ago that I will share with you. Hopefully it will spark someone's creativity, cuz mine has gone awol.

This is a mini accordian album that I made up for a workshop a few months back. It uses CTMH's True Fit folios folded in half, and scored to make pockets. The tags are ready for pictures to be added or journaling. It was lots of fun to make. I used the Life Delights Reflections Kit for this one.

I can't remember who had the tutorial for making this cute little basket. But kudos to you because it was wonderful. I decided to try it out because it looked super cute. Paper is Sweet Leaf CS, and Chocolate grosgrain ribbon. Brads are MM.
